Mindfulness is a way of training the mind to help us pay more attention to what is happening around us and also what is happening inside of us. Using Mindfulness within the classroom setting is very popular and can help to: 

  • Foster greater self-awareness
  • Increase concentration
  • Teach children to stay calm
  • Teach children to make better decisions

We have staff trained in Mindfulness and can provide Mindfulness workshops for both staff and children within your school. 

Positive Connections Workshops

Our Positive Connections Programme is a clothed peer to peer massage programme and can be adapted for a parent/child relationship. The programme is founded on the principles of the Massage In Schools Association. The programme is built on values of respect and inclusion and the benefits can include:

  • Increased self-esteem
  • Improved co-operation skills
  • Reduction in bullying and aggression
  • Good emotional health and wellbeing
  • Calmer classroom environment

Therapeutic Music Workshops

Music can have a profound effect on our health and wellbeing. The benefits which come from music making reach far beyond developing musicianship skills. As a form of therapy, music can help to; 

  • Calm
  • Relieve stress
  • Promote movement
  • Release tension

We have a qualified music teacher who can provide music workshops.

Sound Sleep

Sound Sleep is an educational resource for schools and youth organisations to raise awareness of the importance of sleep for the emotional and physical wellbeing of teenagers. We have trained instructors who can deliver the Sound Sleep Programme within secondary schools. The programme encourages teenagers to implement positive sleep habits within their routines.
