Help the St Margaret’s Family Tree Grow
The St Margaret’s Family Tree a specially commissioned artwork stands as a beautiful symbol of the families created and grown through St Margaret’s and our shared connection as the St Margaret’s family.
The artwork installed within the entrance to our Glasgow office has 260 leaves in gold, copper and bronze. Once the world opens up again, you will be able to come and see the St Margaret’s Family Tree in place.
You can have a leaf engraved with a family name and for instance the date your family was created for £120. Each engraved leaf will be displayed on the tree for a year, after this you can choose to renew your dedication or be given your leaf to treasure at home.
Like most charities we’ve not been immune to the difficulties surrounding Covid-19. The pressures of the pandemic led to an increase in the need for our services and at the same time, the restrictions led to us facing major funding gaps. By dedicating a leaf on our St Margaret’s Family Tree you will help us grow stronger as a charity and continue to support all the families who need us.
The St Margaret’s Family Tree was created by artist Claudia Ashley-Brown you can find out more about her at www.perspexangel.co.uk
